If you're dreaming of digging into a succulent steak, then you're in luck.

Marks and Spencer has slashed the price of its delicious steaks by 20 per cent - meaning they are now cheaper than those at Tesco.

The supermarket is selling its steaks for £4, an offer it is running from now until June 26.

The deal only available in stores and not online.

Steak prices have been slashed at M&S

M&S's tender loin and ribeye cuts weight 227g and 222g respectively - so while their £4 price tag may seem hefty it's actually a pretty good deal, as Tesco's Finest sirloin steak, which weighs 200g, will set you back £4.60.

A ribeye steak in Tesco will also cost you £4.50, 50p more than at Marks and Spencer.

The M&S deal started yesterday (Wednesday, May 2) and is running until June 26.

M&S is also running its popular Two Can Dine for £10 deal for the bank holiday weekend, with steaks, pork ribs and sea bass just some of the tasty treats included in the deal. The offer lets customers buy a main, a side, a dessert and a bottle of wine for just a tenner.
