If you shop at Sainsbury's regularly then you may well have a Nectar card sitting inside your wallet.
But we've all ended up slightly annoyed at some stage when we've handed over our card and paid for our weekly shop, only then to see a stream of money-saving vouchers come out of the till.
Sainsbury's checkouts regularly church out double points vouchers, money-off coupons and codes for 150 extra points. But, their timing is sometimes a little off.
Well one hero shopper has found a way to beat the system to collect all your Sainsbury's coupons BEFORE you hit the tills, the Mirror reports .
The supermarket whistleblower leaked the information to deals forum HotUKDeals under the name dazigster.
According to dazingser's post, it "turns out if you go to a self service till, scan your Nectar card and then immediately click 'pay' without scanning any items, then the till just dumps out all the coupons Sainsbury's was due to give you (such as triple nectar points etc). You can then use them immediately."
So before even setting foot in the fruit and veg aisle, you can have your discounts to hand, and shop and spend accordingly, rather shoving double points coupons into your bag after you're done and hoping you still have them next time round.
Unsurprisingly, there was a very positive response from fellow bargain hunters on the site.
One user named Wear_The_Fox_Hat said "Doesn't surprise me that nobody has ever told us you could do this. Nice find op cheers", while another named juggler1 called it "a revelation".
Several others also confirmed the findings, such as kiwi12, who commenting saying that "It is [true] i used to work for Sainsbury's recently".
While some users lamented not being able to get away with the hack due to the hawk-like self scan attendants at their local, others suggested that it's still possible - just go and buy an onion, carrot or banana first time round to get the vouchers, then do your usual shop after - this time with your deserved vouchers in hand.
